Movie+Game Review!
Terminator Genisys
Director: Alan Taylor Cast: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emelia Clarke, and Jai Courtney.
Terminator Genisys is the 5th installment in the Terminator franchise and although it provides new content into the series and some explanation its predecesors did not its execution is ultimately terrible. Throughout the movie some characters are being withheld knowledge that if the watcher of the movie has seen the previous installments already knows, this proves to be extremely annoying. The movie also attempts to have twists that you can see coming a mile away ruining the surprise. If you're a hardcore terminator fan you might be able to bear and like this movie, if not just skip it.
The movie begins in the future showing the heroics of John Connor and and his army, it then moves to the present to follow the advestures of the heroes who have traveled there as they try to prevent their own anihilation of the futre with many twists and surpirses along the way.
Star Wars Battlefront
Electronic Arts published this game while DICE developed it
Star Wars Battle Front is a restablishment of an older series in which the games where numbered "Star Wars Battle Front", and "Star Wars Battle Front 2". This makes the new the 3rd installment in the series. The goal of this game is to emulate what a battle in Star Wars would feel like, this entails battling on the ground as a foot soldier, using hightech weaponry, fighting for either the Empire or Rebels.
Star Wars BattleFront is the reimagining of a game highly valued by older gamers, however what they imagined wasn't what most people had in mind. To begin, this game is practically worthless without playing online multiplayer, it does have a few offline modes however they aren't that great and it's obvious little time was put into them. This fact means that there is also no campaign, a feature the original BattleFronts had, is my opinion this reduces the value of the game below 60 dollars, but your millage may very. Onto what EA has actually put into the game, well even in multiplayer there is still missing content! No space battles, very few weapons and unlockable equipment, fewer vehicles, I mean wasn't this game supposed to be a sequel not a prequel? Not to mention that the game is also terribly balanced at the moment, one gun is obviously better than all the rest and people who bought the "Deluxe" edition get it immediatly for free! All in all this game at 60 dollars is not worth your money, wait for it to go down to at least 30, then if you really like Star Wars this game might just be good for you.
